Mechanical EI/Mechanical Designer

Job Description

As a Mechanical EI/Mechanical Designer, proven experience working with plans and designs of mechanical systems and components in preparing mechanical documents and detailing for construction drawings. Having strong computer skills, especially in AutoCAD & Revit is certainly desirable. Qualified candidate needs knowledge in the following:

• Current codes
• IBC
• NMC
• ASHRAE
• Performing mechanical design for HVAC systems
• Preparing energy modeling for new and renovated commercial building design

With mechanical design project experience, assist in site visits plus preparation of written reports while planning, designing, and monitoring of various projects. Collaborative and engaging attitude is necessary to help coordinate between disciplines including architecture, interiors, landscape architecture, and electrical engineering.

Qualifications

A minimum of 2 – 3 years of mechanical design and production experience is required. In addition to strong computer skills, candidate must write well.
